Swire Resources: Reducing Municipal Solid Waste
Swire Resources wants to understand the waste generated by its shops and warehouses and incentivize its front-line employees to reduce waste and increase the waste diversion rate.
Solutions could include but are not limited to:
- Smart bins;
- Automated waste audits and other tracking tools;
- SaaS platform to incentivize and/or encourage sustainable behavior in a workplace.
Swire Resources shops sell various brands and have different spatial configurations. Waste collection operations may differ from shop to shop. Proposed solutions shall be adaptable to different settings including retail shops, warehouse, and office settings.
Innovators shall be able to provide local manpower support in Hong Kong. Cantonese-speaking is preferred.
What we are not interested in
Reuse & refill solutions and resale & sharing economy-based solutions are not sought for this challenge.
