Swire Coca-Cola (SCC): Wastewater Reuse

Challenge Overview

Swire Coca-Cola operates manufacturing and bottling plants across Greater China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos. It aims to reduce water use by recycling wastewater onsite.

Solutions could include but are not limited to:

  • Nanofiltration
  • Forward osmosis
  • Microbial treatments
  • Multi-stage evaporation systems
Main Requirements

The solution must be scalable to process at least 100 MT of wastewater per day. It must treat water to a standard suitable for applications such as refilling cooling towers, flushing toilets, and irrigation. Input water will be either already-treated water suitable for discharge into the municipal sewage system, or rejected brine from a reverse osmosis system.

What we are not interested in

  • Systems that only treat water for discharge. Systems that require long dwell times.

Closing date for applications

16 August 2024

How to apply

Please send an overview of the solution, how you will solve the problem, and a pitch deck about the company to anthony.vicari@cleantech.com
