For those solutions working to replace or integrate within a chilled water system or thermal storage system, a potential pilot will be at Sanya, China. The chiller will be of 1300 RT size under chilled water at 6/12oC and condensing water 32/37oC conditions. Assume an 8-hour charging period overnight. Ideally, the solution will have a long system lifetime and not require frequent maintenance or replacement of components or the active material.
For those solutions working to be integrated within an office space, they are to be replaceable with minimal disruption to office tenants. The location of the pilot can be further aligned if a diurnal temperature variation is required.
