Funded Pilot Opportunity: HAECO Hong Kong seeks a solution to enhance the efficiency of water scrubbers or directly upgrade or replace them.
HAECO Hong Kong seeks a solution to enhance the efficiency of water scrubbers or directly upgrade or replace them. The company has 16 water scrubbers operating at various locations in HAECO Hong Kong, such as paint shops, equipment maintenance workshops, canteen kitchens, and cleaning shops. Approximately 17,000 cubic meters of water were used by water scrubbers in 2022, which contributed to 10% of the total water consumption.
Solutions could include but are not limited to:
- Wet Scrubbers
- Dry Scrubbers
- Alternative Liquid Wet Scrubbers
- Electrostatic precipitators
The solutions sought need to:
- Be energy efficient
- Comply with Hong Kong requirements in terms of filtration efficiency
What we are not interested in
Anything that is out of scope:
Solutions that would reduce water use but drastically increase energy consumption.
